If you are losing weight, you will have to use a diet that doesn’t have a lot of carbohydrates and you need to go to carb deficiency. This means that you need to burn more than you consume to be able to reduce size or weight.
Likewise, you have to make sure you get more carbs than you burn if you are trying to increase your size. All this has to be done according to a proper plan. Make sure you always your trainer or nutritionist design you a diet plan according to your body type, body goals, and body issues. In addition to that diet, you have to monitor when you eat or drink. Here is how you should maintain your diet plan after joining the gym for better results.
Before You Start
You are going to need something to give you the energy to exercise properly. It is going to burn you out when you push your limits. However, this doesn’t mean that you should start filling up before going to the gym.
You should not eat anything for at least 2 hours before you start your workout. This means you shouldn’t drink a lot of water.
Make a routine of drinking water to stay hydrated, and get something healthy like whole-grain cereals. You should also avoid anything that has fat or sugar in it.
Before you enter the gym, have some fruit like an apple. There should be a wait of about ten minutes between eating and warming up.
During the Sessions
You are not supposed to eat anything during your workout. You might puke or feel nauseated if you ate anything during this time. Your body will be under intense pressure and it won’t be easy for it to digest anything.
The only thing you should consume is water – that also in small amounts. You should squeeze a lemon in your water bottle and take a sip after every game if you feel like it. Don’t drink too much water or you will have trouble getting back to the game.
After You are Done
You will probably feel a burn in your muscles after an intense workout. Your body will ask for something to drink and eat; however, you should give it some rest.
You may drink some water but only in small amounts. After that, wait for at least 30 minutes before you properly eat or drink something. It would be good to consume some fluids like a glass of juice.
You should get some proteins for your body. It is recommended to use something like Dymatize ISO 100 to faster recovery and growth. You burn a lot of carbohydrates in your session; get some carbs to help your muscles recover.
